- WHEATFIELD Norman C. Miller of the Town of Wheatfield, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, June 7, 2010 in the Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, on his 71st. birthday. Born June 7, 1939 in Buffalo, NY to the late Charles and Bernice (Weeks) Miller. Norman was a long time member and a past Trustee at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Walmore. He was a Boy Scout coordinator for troop 833 and a past member of the Sanborn Fire Company. Norman was employed at General Motors in Lockport for 32 years, retiring in 1999 as a press operator/instructor. He was known by many as Uncle Norm. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie (Pfohl) Miller; a brother, Donald (Linda) Miller; brother-in-law, Calvin (Patricia) Pfohl; sister-in-law, Audrey Johnson; aunt, Irene Miller; and Norman was a very special uncle to Sherry (Kevin) DeVantier, Cindy (Niel) DeVantier, Diana (Bill) Pfohl, Daniel Pfohl, Kylene (Dave) Hershberger; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was also predeceased by a brother, Ronald Miller. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Bruce Gamache' on Thursday at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.
