Werth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Werth, RFD 1, Niagara Falls, was solemnised in St James Lutheran church; Bergholtz. at a p. m. on June 22. The Rev. Otto Brusa, pastor of the church, officiated. Following a reception at the Plantation, the happy couple left on wedding trip to the Thousand Islands. Upon their return they will reside in Cayuga street..

  Lorraine Werth Obituary It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine V. Werth, who passed away July 26, 2024, at the age of 97.  Lorraine was a devoted and loving caregiver, known for her unwavering dedication to children throughout her life. Her nurturing spirit was evident as a young teen when she chose to step in and raise her 4 younger brothers after the untimely passing of her young mother.  Her desire and ability to bring joy and comfort to those around her continued to grow through the years. Lorraine's commitment to inclusion and community was reflected in her active memberships with Redeemer Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda and the American Legion Post 264 in Tonawanda. Her legacy of compassion and service will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Donald A. Werth. Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Joselyn (Randy) Rogalsky, and Rebecca (Sam) Albert. Loving Gram to Eric, Christine, Samuel (Mackenzie), Wesley, Stephanie (Marc), and Brandon. Loving GG to Kameron, Delaney, Bradley, Jaelyn, and Maya. She is survived by her brothers Erwin Wienke, and Nelson Wienke, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, July 29th, from 5pm - 8pm at Fretthold and Hamp Funeral Home, located at 37 Adam Street, in Tonawanda. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 30th, beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Private interment at Elmlawn Memorial Park.
