NORTH TONAWANDA One man was killed and
two others seriously injured when the car in which they were
riding went out of control and collided with a stone column
at the entrance of a Creekside drive parking lot, Town of
Tonawanda, about 1 a.m. Sunday.
Richard L. Wienke, 23, of 178
E- Feltpn St., driver of the car,
was promounced dead on arrival
at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. He
suffered a fractured skull, broken
neck and cruched chest.

Wienke was born in the town
of Wheatfield and had lived in
this city for the last month. He
was a member of St. John's Luth-
eran Church and was employed
at the Chevrolet Plant.
Surviving are his father, John
Wienke, Town of Wheatfield four
brothers, Herbert and Erwin
Wienke of the township, Edward
Wienke, Detroit, Mich., and Nel-
son Wienke, this city; and three
sisters, Mrs. Mildred Morchen-
baugh, Kenmore, and Mrs. Charles
Donner and Mrs. Donald Werth
both of this city.
The Rev. Ernest Dietz, pastor
of St. James Lutheran Church,
bergholtz, will conduct services at
1 p.m. Tuesday in the Frethold
Funeral Home. Burial will be inm
St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
