  Niagara Gazette NORTH TONAWANDA—William C. Niese, 60, of 334 Ward Road, died Wednesday (May 20, 1964) after a lengthy Illness. He was a lifelong resident here and had been engaged in a retail dry goods business at 1136 Oliver St. for more than 44 years. Mr. Niese was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, S u r v i v o r s include his widow, the former Leona Schultz; two sons, William A. Niese, Phoenix, Ariz., and Marvin, A. Niese, at home; a daughter, Ruth E. Niese, a student at Cornell University; a brother, Arthur Niese, and two. sisters, Mrs. Harvey Grobe and Mrs. Henry Riemer, all of the Tonawandas. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Frethold Funeral Home, Rev. Loren J. Sholey officiating. Burial will be in St Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.
