Dean N. Barry, of the Town of Cambria, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. He was born in Lewiston, Niagara County, NY on March 21, 1978, the son of Patrick and Deborah A. (Pokelwaldt) Barry of the Town of Cambria. Dean was a graduate of Starpoint Central School and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Nathan (Rebecca) Barry and Adam Barry, both of the Town of Cambria; one sister Jill (Ryan) Smith of the Town of Pendleton; uncle of Jared and Sydney Barry and Lawson Smith; grandson of Neil and the late Helen Pokelwaldt, Robert and Joan Barry; nephew of Linda Pokelwaldt, Sharon (Neil) Harvey, Chris (Marlana) Barry, Eileen Smith and the late Wesley and Neil Pokelwaldt. Dean is also survived by many cousins and friends. The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held at a time to be announced. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Breast Cancer Foundation.
