JAZDZYK - Marion P . Jazdzyk, 68 , of North Tonawanda , Thursday (January 30, 1986 ) at DeGraff memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness . A lifelong resident of North Tonawanda , Mr . Jazdzyk was a retired employee of Roblin Steel , an Army Veteran of W . W . II , he was a former member and past commander of Stephen Sikora Post #1322 American Legion , he was also one of the organizers of the Stephen Sikora Post Ladies Auxiliary . Mr . Jazdzyk was a former Democratic Committeeman and a member of Dom Polski .
Beloved husband of Helen (nee Sidor ) Jazdzyk; dearest father of Mrs . William (Kathy ) Kalinowski of Syracuse , N .Y ., Mrs . Howard (Mary ) Slauson of Tonawanda , Michael and James Jazdzyk , both at home ; proud grandfather of three grandchildren ; dear brother of Mrs . Joseph (Jane ) Wrazin , Mrs . Alex (Anna ) Soos , Mrs . Chester (Pauline ) Sliwowski , Mrs . Frank (Frances ) Kolek , Henry and Joseph Jazdzyk and the late Mrs . Genevieve (Henry ) Jankowski . Also survived by several nieces , nephews and cousins .
The family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday only 1-9 p .m . at the Saber-Skomski Funeral Home , 549 Oliver St ., North Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a .m . followed by a Mass of Christian Burila at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 a .m . Interment in Mt . Olivet Cemetery. Catholic Wake services will be held this afternoon at 3:00 p .m .
