Kenneth M. Wright, 82, who worked as a laborer for E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. in Niagara Falls for 32 years, died Tuesday (April 9, 2002) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Massena and moved to Niagara Falls when he was young.
Wright was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired from DuPont in 1985.
He enjoyed gardening.
He married Mona Sowter in 1941. She died in 1982. Survivors include two daughters, Jan Voelker of Bergholz and Joan D. Ankenbauer of Largo, Fla.; a son, Kenneth C. of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, John and Robert, both of Wheatfield; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston
