- Kevin Lee (Coach Kevin) Klinger, SR, 60, of Niagara Falls, NY, loving husband of 38 years to Donna(Luna)Klinger, passed away surrounded by family and friends, Wednesday August 10, 2016. Born in Tonawanda, NY he was the son of Joann (Gary) Eichler of Niagara Falls, NY and the late Edward Klinger.
Kevin was a loyal and dedicated Father, Grandfather, and Husband who loved the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Yankees. He was well known for his kind demeanor and always putting others before himself. He coached Hyde Park and Midtown Baseball for many seasons, and coached Midtown big-league to two regional championships. He was also cofounder of NBA wrestling where he coached for nine years and helped numerous inner city kids achieve self-confidence and self- esteem. He worked for Altra Industries/Nuttall Gear for 30 years where he made numerous friends.
In addition to his loving wife Kevin is survived by his two sons Kevin(Christine) Klinger and Robert(Cecelia) Klinger; two grandsons Trevor and Joseph Klinger; siblings Darlene Cappetta, Jeffrey(Kim)Klinger, Tammy(George)Mattoon, Tom(Lisa)Klinger, Rhonda(Clay)Powell, and Scott Stenzel, his extended family Bill and Kat Miller, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin Monday August 15TH from 3-7 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. With Rev.
