Paul G. Szathmary, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010, in the Erie County Home, Alden, NY. He was born in Buffalo, NY on November 21, 1935, the son of the late Joseph and Vera (Holden) Szathmary. Mr. Szathmary serviced with the US ARMY, during the Korean Conflict. He was a millwright with Spaulding Fibers, for over 35 years, before retiring. Mr. Szathmary was a member of Jaycees and the Spaulding Fibers Camping Club. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed traveling. Mr. Szathmary is survived by two sons, Douglas P. (Pauline) Szathmary and Daniel J. Szathmary; one daughter, Diana L. (Andrew) Eloff; one brother, Joseph (Barbara) Szathmary; brother-in-law of Ronald (Beverly) Wendt and Robert Perry, he is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great- granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Barbara Wendt and Helen Perry. Funeral Services will be held at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY on Thursday at 10:00 AM, with the with Rev.
