SANBORN-Philip A. Wittcopp;
74, formerly of Tuscarora
Road Town of Niagara,
died u n e x p e c t e d l y Friday
(Oct. 1, 1965) in Lockport
where he had been a resident
for about four years.
He was born in the Town of
Niagara Jan. 19, 1891, a son
of Christian and Hulda Wittcopp.
He had lived in that
area throughout his Iife until
going to Lockport. He was
employed by the Town of Niagara
highways department
until his retirement several
years ago.
Mr. Wittcopp also had worked
for the L a S a 11 e Sportsmen's
Club of which he was
a member.
Survivors include several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral s e r v i c e s will be
held at the Pike and Jones
Funeral Home here at 2 p.m.
Sunday, Rev. M. A. Pushkar
of St. Paul's Lutheran Church,
North Tonawanda, officiating.
Burial will be in Wheatfield
Cemetery, Shawnee.
NOTE: in 1930 Census he is listed as single with no child living with his sister Esther as Philip Witkop
