  Niagara Gazette - 6/26/1943 NORTH TONAWAND A - Mrs Augusta Acksel, 80, died yesterday at her home, 303 Bryant street. She was born in Germany and has re- sided in this city the last 60 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Westphal, of Buffalo, and Miss Ida Acksel, of this city; one son, Arnold Acksel, of this city and seven grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the home. The Rev. Robert Hein will officiate. Inter- ment will be in St. Peter's cemetery.
