  Niagara Gazette - 4/4/1967 NORTH TONAWANDA-Edward W. Ostwald, 74, of 7057 Ward Road, Town of Wheatfield, died Monday (April 3, 1967) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in the Town of Wheatfield and lived in this city until 1913 before moving back to the Town of Wheatfield. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, and St. Johnsburg Fire Co. He is survived by his wife, the former Alsophine Broecken four sons, Alvin E., and Wilbert. A., both of the Tonawandas, Edward A. of the Town of Tonawanda, and Richard E., of Wilson; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Urtel, and Mrs. William Zuch, both of the town of- Wheatfield. Seven grandchildren also survive. - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fretthold Funeral Home. The Rev. Clarence W. Rabe will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
