  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 1/15/1979 BLACK - Leona L. Black, 63, of North Tonawanda, Monday (January 15, 1979) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Black was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was the wife of the late Donald Black who died in 1976. She is survived by a brother, Arthur (Mabel) Schmeichel of Wilcox, Ariz., and several nieces and nephews. -Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening from 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
