- Gath, Ryan Edward age 28 of the Town of Wheatfield passed suddenly March 18, 2015 in Brooklyn, NY. Ryan earned the rank of Eagle Scout at age 17. He was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School and graduated cum laude from the University of Buffalo. He had currently been employed at Greenpeace in Manhattan, NY. His positive exuberance for learning, people, animals and life, left an impression on the hearts of those he felt fortunate to have crossed paths with on his journey. What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose. For all that we love deeply becomes a part of us. Ryan had the world in his hands. Now he has the universe. PEACE Beloved son of Randall and Lee (Schroeder) Gath of the Town of Wheatfield; Dear brother of Cory Gath and Lissa Gath both of California and the late Erin Gath. Grandson of Jerry Waldkoetter of North Tonawanda. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 10 AM. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery.
