  North Tonawanda NY Evening News SAHR - Edwin L. Sahr, 79, of 642 Niagara Falls Blvd.. North Tonawanda, Monday (Oct. 27. 1969) at Niagara Lutheran Home. Buffalo, after a long illness. A native of North Tonawanda. he had been employed at the Wurlitzer Co. for more than 40 years, retiring six years ago. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Laymen's League, Rescue Fire Company and the Benevolent Firemen's Association and was a former superintendent of St Paul Lutheran School. Survivors include his wife. Alma (nee Wilke) Sahr: three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Bernice) Wood of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Francis (Marguerite) Beyette of Tonawanda and Mrs. Paul (Cora) Mallue of Canton, Ohio: nine grandchildren, and three greatgrandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and until noon on thursday at the John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Streets, Tonawanda. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Old Falls Boulevard, by the Rev. Enno A. Schmoock. Burial in Resthaven Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to Niagara Lutheran Home or St. Paul Lutheran School.
