the engagement of her
daughter, Betty Louise, to Irvin E.
Sahr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav
Sahr el Linden Ave., North Tonawanda.

place in the near future.

The former Miss Betty Louise
Scott, daughter of Mrs. Frederick
T. Scott of 605 Chestnut Ridge Rd.,
Tonawanda, end the late Mr. Scott,
became the bride of Mr. Sahr on
Jan. 16 in a ceremony at 11 a.m.
in St. Christopher's Shrine, Niagara
Falls Blvd. The Rt. Rev.
William Solleder officiated.
The bride wore a gown of white
satin and lace with illusion neckline
and a fingertip veil of net
and lace caught to a halo of
orange blossoms. She wore a
strand of pearls,' a gift from the
bridegroom and carried white carnations,
camellias and pink rose-
buds in a crescent shaped bouquet.
Her sister, Miss Edwina Scott,
was the maid of honor wearing a
white net ballerina length dress.
Tiny rosebuds edged the fan
shaped neckline. She carried red
roses and white carnations and
wore a halo of rosebuds in her
hair.
Clayton Kitchen attended the
bridegroom as best man.
For her daughter's wedding Mrs.
Scott chose a blue taffeta dress
studded with whinestones and wore
a pink camellia corsage. The
bridegroom's mother chose a navy
blue crepe dress with lace neck-
line and sleeves and a corsage of
camellias.
A wedding breakfast was served
in the Eldredge Cllub with yellow
and white carnations centering
table. A reception was given in the
Barge Inn for 200 guests.
Mrs. Janet Buike of Delware
St. entertained at a pre-nuptial
party for the bride.
