  Lockport Sun and Journal - 1217/1932 NORTH TONAWANDA, Dec. 17—Carl Mellenthien. 84 years old,died yesterday at his home, 480 Schenk street.. Born In Germany, he had lived In North Tonawanda fifteen years. Mr. Mellenthien is survived by his wife, Mary Wilke Mellenthien; two sons, Alvin, Clarence and Henry, of Buffalo ten grandchildren, a brother. William Hannemann, Newfane, and three sisters, Mrs. Alvlna Sehendel. Mrs Augusta Bach and Mrs. Minnie Bemdt, all of North Tonawanda. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 30 o'clock at the home. The Rev. Carl Frankenstein, pastor of St Matthews Church, will conduct the services and burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery.
