PROHASKA – Martin J. Prohaska, 29, of North Tonawanda, Monday( June 5, 1978) at Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Prohaska was an Army veteran, for nine years, serving in the Viet Nam conflict.
He is survived by his father, John F. Prohaska; his mother, Mrs. Jennie F. Litwin and a brother, Phillip A. Prohaska, all of North Tonawanda; five step-sisters, Mrs. Julianne Holt and Mrs. Bernard (Sheila) Bukoskey, both of Tonawanda, Mrs. Rosalyn Himmelbach of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Michelle Coleman of Oneida, N.Y., and Mrs. Denise DuBuke of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and a step-brother, Stanley Quintern of Jacksonville, Fla.
The family will receive friends at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda this evening from 7 to 9 and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Louis S. Dolinic officiating. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park.
