  5 April 1963 Tonawanda News PROEFROCK – Kenneth F. Proefrock, 37, of 4232 Mapleton Road, Town of Wheatfield, died unexpectedly Thursday (April 4, 1963) at DeGraff Hospital. He was born in Tonawanda and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was born in Tonawanda and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a World War II Army veteran and was employed at the Holcum Construction Co. in Niagara Falls. He is survived by his wife, Lottie Kley Proefrock; a son, James R.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Proefrock; three sisters, Mrs. George Henry, Mrs. William Reif and Mrs. John Pignortora, all of the Tonawandas, and one grandchild. Friends may call at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, where services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Noel V. Blankenship officiating. Burial in Wheatfield cemetery.
