Leroy David Proefrock , age 75, of North Tonawanda, passed away October 9, 2024 while in Millard Fillmore Suburban. He was the son of the late Glenwood and Viola (Seefried) Proefrock. Leroy was an artist, he loved drawing and painting. He had worked as a truck driver and in collision repair, he loved classic cars and was good at painting cars. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast. Beloved father of James (Denise) Proefrock, Sheri (Eric) Gampp, Amy (Joseph) Simkanin, and Susan Gardner Schaus. Grandfather of Zachary and Grace Proefrock, Madeline (Adam) Brodfuehrer, Cameron Gampp, Morgan (Brice) Barto, Lily Simkanin, Mariah and Hannah Schaus. Great-grandfather of Cyrus and Leslie Barto.Brother of Sharon (Michael) Meindl, and the late James Proefrock and the late Patricia (late Richard) Fox. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Sunday, October 13th from 2:00PM - 5:00PM, funeral services will be held at the funeral home beginning at 5:00PM, The Rev.
