Mr. Proefrock was born in North Tonawanda, NY on August 19, 1929 to Arnold and Margaret (Pfonner) Proefrock. Robert was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Airforce, 62 year member of Adams Fire Co. in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, working for his Fire Co. and spending time with his family. Robert was predeceased by his wife Mary (Machaby) Proefrock who died in 2015.
Robert is survived by his children Robert A. (April) Proefrock, Beth (Kama) Patterson, Jan Loeffert-Foss, brother of Dorothy Chapman, and Sally (John) Ferguson, grandfather of Melissa (Mike), Nicole (Jay), Amber, Gary, Katie, Nicholas (Ashley) and Robbie, great grandmother of Brandon, Dillon, Emily, and Jordan. also Surviving are many nieces and nephews
a Celebration of life will be held Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Adams Fire Hall,7113 Nash Rd. N. Tonawanda NY from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Adams Fire Co.
