- John Francis Dotterweich, age 84, of Ft. Myers Beach, FL and formerly from North Tonawanda. “Jack” as he was known to his friends, was the former co-owner of Frontier Hydraulics in Buffalo. He and his wife, Donna, moved to Ft. Myers after their retirement in 1996. Jack was an avid fisherman and belonged to the Bayside Ringers Horseshoe Club in Ft. Myers. Jack was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran. Son of the late Frank and Anna Dotterweich.
Loving husband of Donna (nee Hood) Dotterweich of Ft. Myers. Dear father of Mark Dotterweich, Jane (John) DiVirgilio, Gary (Tammy) Dotterweich, Nancy Schreckengost, Joseph (Karen) Dotterweich, Diane (Keith) Milbrand and Paul (Jennifer) Dotterweich. Proud grandfather of Erin (Chad) Stockwell, Andrew, Amy, Daniel, David, Melissa, Rebecca, Jacob, Rachel, Jack, Sara, Kate, Joseph, Mitchell, Emily, Patrick, Julie, Phillip and Evan. Great-grandfather of Samantha and “CJ”. Brother of Thomas (Rosemary) Dotterweich. Also survived by two nephews.
Family services were private followed by interment with Military Honors at White Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements by the Brunner Funeral Home.
