  23 November 1910 Tonawanda News August F. Poerschke August F. Poerschke, 68 years old, died at his home on the Ruie road last night after a lingering illness. The deceased was born in Germany and has lived in the Tonawandas during the last fifteen years. Besides his widow, three daughters and four sons survive. The funeral will be held from the late home tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. August Herring officiating. Burial will be at Sawyers Creek.
