  23 November 1956 Tonawanda News PROHASKA - Mrs. Catharine Prohaska, 75, died Wednesday, (Nov. 21, 1956) in Buffalo after a long illness. Born in Austria-Hungary, Mrs. Prohaska resided in Tonawanda the greater part of her life before moving to Buffalo five years ago. She was a member of St. Francis Church and a former member of the Altar Society of St. Francis Church. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Ann Prohaska of New York City and Mrs. James Polizzi of Buffalo, and four sons, John and Joseph of North Tonawanda, Frank of Niagara Falls and Peter of Alden, N. Y. Twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., where services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and at 9 a.m. in St. Francis Church with the Rev. Wilbur Yaeger officiating. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery.
