  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 8/13/1984 WEIN - Chester F. Wein, 77, of North Tonawanda, Saturday (August 11, 1984) in North Gate Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Wein was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Eldridge Club and the American Legion Post #264. Mr. Wein was a retired employee of Spaulding Fiber. He is survived by his wife Eleanor (nee Ullrich) Wein; a sister Mrs. Onnolee Scott of No. Tonawanda and a brother Howard (Viola) Wein of Tonawanda. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Ann Elizabeth Wein and brother of the late Margaret Warblow and Alvin Wein. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. The Rev. Robert Rickus will officiate. Interment Elmlawn Cemetery. If so desired memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Retarded Childrens' Fund
