- Catherine L. "Cathy" Waymire, 70, of Delphi, passed away, surrounded by her family, at 6:25 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital of Lafayette. She was born July 4, 1948 in Goodland, Indiana to the late Robert and Lucile (Woods) Deno.
Cathy was a 1966 graduate of Goodland High School and attended college at Long Beach State. Her marriage was to Ernest W. "Wayne" Waymire on January 15, 1988 in Lafayette; he survives.
Cathy was the office manager for Senesac Fertilizer in Ambia, retiring in 2010. Cathy was a loving wife and mother. She took great pride in the care of their home and lived to take care of her husband Wayne. Cathy and Wayne had 31 beautiful years together that ended way too soon. She lived life to the fullest, cared deeply for others and never had a bad day. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving with her husband Wayne are her children; Bryan Crone, Monet Hardesty (husband: Anthony) of Lafayette, Kelly Davis (husband: Peter) of Arizona, Jesse Crone (wife: Rachel) of Lafayette, Charlie Waymire (wife: Kortney) of Lafayette and Sherry Brown (husband: Justin) of Lafayette; and two brothers, Jeff Deno (wife: Bonnie) of Lebanon and George Deno (partner: Joe) of Indianapolis. Cathy loved spending time with her family especially her 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
