- Bryan J. Zeke Mosher, of Lockport, NY, entered into rest Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Born in Lockport on June 29, 1922, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Cordula Werth Mosher. Zeke served in the U.S. Navy from January 29, 1943 to February 19, 1946, also serving in the Naval Reserves for over 30 years. Zeke received his BA Degree in 1948 from the University of Buffalo in physical education. He received his BS Degree in 1950 from the University of Buffalo in secondary school administration. He received his Masters from Buffalo State in elementary education, and in 1967 received his PhD from Syracuse University. Father of Carole Mosher of Prairie Village, KS, Bryan J. (Jenn) Mosher of Vinton, VA and the late Sandra Mosher Gaza. Also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Zeke was also the former husband of EmmaJean Wilson and Clara Perdue.Dad was a great sportsman having played and coached basketball, football and golf. He traveled the world after his retirement and enjoyed the distinction of having visited every continent including Antarctica. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday in Gaul Funeral Home, 263 East Ave., Lockport at 4 PM. Interment in Glenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
