- John "Jack" F. Dugan, of Niagara Falls, died on Monday, September 21, 2009 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital. He was 82. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York on Niagara Gazette 9/22/2009
December 13, 1926, a son of the late Corneilius and Mary (Morris) Dugan.He attended area schools. Mr. Dugan worked at several area auto dealerships. He retired as service manager from Gambino Toyota in 1991. He was a longtime member of Prince of Peace RC Church (now St. Vincent de Paul Parish) and of the Niagara Falls Moose Lodge. He enjoyed travel and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Shirley (Pletcher) Dugan; a daughter, Gail Gilpatrick (Lee) of Mt. Holly Springs, PA; two sons, Mark Dugan (Mary K.) and Shannon Dugan (Kadie), both of Niagara Falls; a sister, Patricia Baney of North Tonawanda; grandchildren, Katherine Quirin, Sean Gilpatrick, Tyler Dugan, Kayleigh Dugan and John "Jack" Dugan; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Olivia Quirin and Kyrra Dugan; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and siblings, James, Jerald and Ronald Dugan. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Friday 11 AM with the Rev. Robert Hughson officiating. The interment will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria. Memorials, if desired may be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 John J. Audubon Pkwy, Amherst, NY or to St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
