Wheatfield Town Clerk Dies After Heart Attack
William F. Williams, 40, Born in North Tonawanda, Succumbed Last Night at His Home on Ward Road, St. Johnsburg
William F. Williams, 40 years old, one of the best known residents of the town of Wheatfield, died last night at his home on the Ward road, St. Johnsburg. His death followed a heart attack, with which he was stricken yesterday morning.
Mr. Williams was born in North Tonawanda 40 years ago and had been a resident of Wheatfield for the last 30 years. He had been clerk of the town for the past ten years. He was a member of the St. Johnsburg Fire Department. He was a Democrat politically.
Surviving are a wife, Louise; two sons, Edward and Roger Williams; a daughter, Miss Evelyn Williams; five brothers, Edmund and Walter Williams, St. Johnsburg, Alvin Williams, Newfane, Marcus and Helmuth Mellentine, St. Johnsburg, and four sisters, Mrs. Charles Achterburg, Pekin, Mrs. Louis Holland and Mrs. Louis Newman, North Tonawanda and Mrs. Henry Broecker, St. Johnsburg.
