Born November 14, 1926, daughter of the late George and Marie (Katzendober) Scherrer. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Wheatfield. Leatta was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Lloyd "Sam" N. Broeker on June 22, 2006.
Survivors include four children, Terrence (Betty) Broeker, Cary "Kip" (Judy) Broeker, Deborah (Jerald) Conicelli, and Daniel (Sherri) Broeker; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
