  Niagara Gazette - 1/22/1942 NORTH TONAWANDA-Stricken with a heart attack while descend- -ing the stairs at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Martha Pieper, 421 Wheatfield" street, this morning, John Pieper, 63, .dropped dead. Health Officer Henry C. Lapp was called and said that Mr. Pieper suffered a stroke two years ago and had been In poor health since. The body was removed to the Hamp funeral home, 37 Adam street.
