- LORETTA DAUL MESKER / Worked 36 years at city company. Mrs Loretta Daul Mesker,88,of Lockport Street died Wednesday [Dec.9,1987 ] at Fairchild Manor Nursing Home, Lewiston. She was a native of Niagara Falls, daughter of the late George Lawrence and Emma C. Regenhart Daul. Mrs. Mesker was an employee for 36 years at International Minerals and Chemical Corp., formally Innis Speiden and Co. as office supervisor in the Niagara Falls office, retiring in 1977. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Mesker, who died August 1977. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Catherine Bridge of Niagara Falls, Ont. Canada and several nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. She was the sister of the late Francis J. Daul and Mrs. Fred [Delphine ] Moir. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today at the Rhoney Funeral Home, 1124 Ontario Ave.,where Vigil Prayers will be held at 3:30 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Contributions to the Sacred Heart Church renovation fund are acceptable as tribute.'' This obituary was in the Niagara Gazette of 12/11/1987.
