Feb. 10.-The wedding of Miss Josephine Williams, d a u g h t e r of Edward Williams of the Lockport Road, to Mr. William Buerger Jr. of Bergholtz, was solemnized on Tues- day evening F e b r u a r y eighth at seven o'clock at the L u t h e r a n church a t Nia g a r a Falls. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Edward Nemesche Si. A reception for the families followed the the ceremony at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. Frank Wolf of Ontario avenue. Pre-nuptial events were: a variety shower given by Miss G e r t r u d e Buerger at her home Ber- holtz last Thursday evening; and a variety shower given by the bride's s i s t e r . Miss Esther Williams last Saturday evening Mr and Mrs. Buerger will reside at Niagara Falls.

  NF Gazette Josephine E. Buerger St. James Church member. WHEATFIELD - Josephine E. Buerger, 78, of the Town of Wheatfield, died Sunday (Sept. 30, 1984) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. A former resident of Bergholtz (sic), she was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Women of the Church. She was the wife of the late William H. Buerger, who died in 1982. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Taylor of Connecticut and Mrs. Gordon (Helen) Voelker of West Virginia; a son, William E. Buerger of the Town of Wheatfield; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Alice) Beutel and Mrs. Alfred (Martha) DeVantier of Sanborn and Mrs. James (Esther) Holladay of Florida; and a brother, the Rev. Walter Williams of Ohio. She was the sister of the late Arthur and Melvin Williams. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home. 1241 Oliver St., North Tonawanda, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at St. James Lutheran Church. Bergholtz (sic), with burial at St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
