OBSERVE ANNIVERSARY-Mr. and Mrs. George Wittkop, 1792
Ruie road, North Tonawanda, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary
last night by entertaining confirmed members of St. Martin's
Lutheran church at a turkey dinner served at the church. Shown in
the picture, from left to right, are Mr. Wittkop, the Rev. Theodore
Berner, pastor, and Mrs, Wittkop. Mr. and Mrs. Wittkop were
married, in Pekin, February 6, 1902. Mrs. Wittkop, the former
Emma Werth, is 71. Her husband is 73. They have one son, Edward,
and two grandchildren. The Sunshine Guild, served 140 guests at the
dinner party. Music and singing, featuring many of the old German
songs, were program highlights. A freewill collection was taken for the
benefit of the Lutheran hour.

1958) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital
after a short illness. She
was a member of St. Marks Luthern
Church,
She is survived by her husband
George C. Wittkop; a son, Edward
A. Wittkop; two grandchildren and
one great grandchild; a sister, Mrs
Ella Lemkc, Niagara Falls, and a
brother. Alfred Werth, of this city.
The Rev. Paul Frethold will con-
duct set vices at 2 p.m. Monday at
the Frethold Funeral Home. Burial
will be in White Chapel Memonial
Park.'
