Aleda Constance "Connie" Frantz

Aleda Constance "Connie" (Gatley) Frantz, age 72, of Wheatfield, entered into rest on February 2, 2013 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, after a brief illness. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, on June 14, 1940, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Rose (Scherrer) Gatley.
Connie was a North Tonawanda High School graduate and was employed 36 years as a Pharmacy Technician at the Rite Aid Pharmacy on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Niagara Falls, retiring in October 2011. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, camping and spending quality time with her family.
Survivors include her loving husband, Charles C. Frantz. They were united in marriage on February 22, 1958; two children, Charles (Sandra) Frantz, Jr. and Kevin (Claire) Frantz; three grandchildren, Kevin J., Christina Y. and Charlene E. Frantz; a great-granddaughter, Arabella C. Frantz, all of Niagara Falls; five brothers and sisters, Dennis Gatley, LeRoy "Butch" Gatley, Jr., Keith Gately, Fay Robins and Cynthia Wallenschlager. She was predeceased by two brothers, Earl and Ronald Gatley.
Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Charles Hobbs, on Wednesday, February 6th at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
