Ruth was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda and a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She worked as a secretary for Remington Rand in North Tonawanda for over 35 years. She enjoyed knitting and traveling. Dear aunt of Donald Werth of Fort Myers, Florida and Ann (William) Proefrock of Port Crane, NY; great aunt of Wendy (Lee) Belasco of Pearl River, NY, Jennifer (Christopher) Sienkiewicz of Knoxville, TN and Brian (Michele) Proefrock of Falmouth, ME; great great aunt of Nicholas, Zachary, Micaela, Alexandra and Joseph. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 10 AM.
