WERTH - Edward H. Werth, 77, of Nerth Tonawanda, Saturday (April 24, 1982) at Millard Fillmore Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Werth was a lifelong resident of No.Tonawanda, a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, the Gratwick Hose Co., and the Firemen's Benevolent Assoc. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude (nee Gath) Werth; a son, Donald (June) Werth of Boston, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. William (Ann) Proefrock of Port Crane, N.Y.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Broecker and Mrs. Wilbert (Hilda) Dernier, both of No. Tonawanda; a brother, Raymond (Alberta) Werth of Summerfield, Fla. Brother of the late Erwin Werth. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Rd.., No. Tonawanda today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in St. Mark Lutheran Church Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Thomas K. Spahn will officiate. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
