- Anthony R. Pasqualichio, 86 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on July 19, 2018 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born January 26, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Vincent and Grace (Giordano) Pasqualichio.
Anthony was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area and attended local schools. Afterwards he attended Niagara County Community College and Buffalo State College where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. Anthony served as a corporal and ‘I Corp’ instructor in the United States Army during the Korean War until his honorable discharge on July 13, 1954. For twenty five years, he was employed as a supervisor for the Niagara County Department of Health. Anthony was active in various local organizations including, serving on the board of directors for the Police and Judges Conference, and was past President and Chairman of the Board of the Sertoma Club, the second oldest service club in the United States. He was also a member of the American Legion Veterans of Foreign Wars and Knights of Columbus Council #247. In his leisure time, Anthony enjoyed writing poetry and short stories, woodworking, making birdhouses, jelly cupboards, playing handball and golf.
Anthony was predeceased by his wife Sandra Lee (Nowakowski) Pasqualichio. He is survived by his two daughters, Toni-Jean (Luke) Nicolette, Laurie Ann (Charles) Bazinet, three grandchildren, Michael (fiancé Chrystina) Nicolette, Luke (Alicia) Nicolette and Andrea Pollard, four great-grandchildren, Nicolette, Cole, Aleena and Amaya, a brother Michael (Debra) Pasqualichio, his former wife Jeanine (Calandrelli) Martyniuk, his dear nephew David (Liz) Stebbins, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by three sisters, Josephine (late Charles) Musso, Jennie Pasqualichio, Phyllis (late Casey) Zygmont, and one brother Vincent Pasqualichio.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J.COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Tuesday July 24th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Family Parish at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 27th Street and Independence Ave. Niagara Falls. Entombment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery with Military Honors.
