  Obituary for Theodore J. Belling Theodore J. Belling, 90, died October 18, 2022, at home under hospice care. He was born February 17th, 1932, to Josephine (Knoll) and George Belling in North Tonawanda, New York. Ted graduated from Alfred University and served in the US Army. He married Ruth Bossart on March 6, 1954 and they had 5 children, Linda (James) McOmber, Pamela, Douglas (Marianne) Belling, Tina Benjamin and Laurie (Timothy) Jekel. He retired from Niagara County Department of Planning and Development. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, bird watching and traveling. Ted is survived by his spouse and children, a sister, Mary Grove, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, George “Bud” Belling, Paul Belling and Dorothy Belling. A Memorial Service will be held November 12th at 11 AM at St Martin Lutheran Church at 322 Old Falls Boulevard, North Tonawanda.
