Marian A. Nemeschy of Roseland Avenue, a longtime church and hospital volunteer, died Sunday (July 13, 1997) in Medina Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was 77. Born Marian Warne in Medina, she graduated from Medina High School in 1937. In 1954, she married Paul B. Nemeschy, who survives her Mrs. Nemeschy worked as a secretary for H. J. Heinz and DuPont de Nemours & Co. for 10 years and for Dr. Harvey Blanchet for 20 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member for more than 40 years of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where she formerly was treasurer of the building fund. She also taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Medina Memorial Hospital Association of Twigs and coordinator of the Twig Reception Desk Volunteers for 11 years. She also served on the Twig Board and wrote the Twig Talk news items for a number of years. She was a member of the Welcome Rebekah Lodge 146. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1355 West Ave. Burial will be in West Ridgeway Cemetery.
