 At a double ring ceremony on Sept. 8, 1956, Miss Delores Wilhelmina Schaal, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin F. Schaal, Wilson, was united in marriage to Lawrence E. Eckler, Barker, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wilson. The Rev. A. F. G. Daechsel, of Lyndonville, officiated.
 
 Miss Ruth Schaal, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Miss Elizabeth Morton, Wilson, and Miss June Maybach, Barker, were bridesmaids.
 
 Harold Ecker served as best man, and John Beutel and Steven Wilson performed the ushering duties.
 
 Mrs. Paul Bloom of Barker, was soloist, accompanied by Ralph Schnakl of Lyndonville.
 
 An evening reception was held at the American Legion Hall, Ransomville.
 
 Following a honeymoon in Wisconsin and Washington, D.C., Mr. and Mrs. Eckler will make their home in this city.

 GIFT OF BRIDEGROOM
 The bride was given in marriage
 by her father before an altar decorated
 with baskets of white glad
 loli and chrysanthemums. She
 wore a gown of nylon tulle and
 Chantilly lace over satin featuring
 a fitted bodice with a braided
 scoop neckline and long sleeves.
 Her full gathered skirt had inserts
 of Chantilly lace. A beaded _
 queen's crown held her fingertip
 double-illusion veil.  She carried a
 cascade of white roses centered
 with an orchid, and wore a pearl
 necklace and pearl earrings, gifts
 of the bridegroom.
 Miss Ruth Schaal, sister of the
 bride, was maid of honor. She
 wore a gown of romance blue
 made of nylon chiffon with strapless
 braided bodice and full gathered
 skirt. A headband of deep
 pink roses completed her attire
 and she carried a nosegay of pink
 roses.
 Miss Elisabeth Morton, Wilson,
 and Miss June Maybach, Barker,
 were similarly gowned in vassar
 rose and maize with headbands of
 yellow roses and they carried
 nosegays of yellow roses.
 BEST MAN, USHERS
 Harold Ecker served as best
 man, and John Beutel and Steven
 Wilson performed the ushering duties.
 Mrs. Paul Bloom, Barker, was
 soloist, Ralph Schnakl, Lyndonville
 was organist.
 Mrs. Edwin Schaal, mother of
 the bride, chose a street-length
 gown of gray Chantilly lace
 with pink accessories.  Her cor-
 sage was of deep pink roses.
 An evening reception for 175
 guests was held at the American
 Legion hall, Ransomville.  A three-
 tiered wedding cake with can-
 dles on either side graced the
 bride's table.
 The bride chose a pink suit with
 navy blue accessories and an orchid
 corsage for her wedding trip.
 Following a honeymoon in Wisconsin
 and Washington, Mr. and
 Mrs. Eckler will make their home
 at Niagara Falls.
 Pre-nuptial showers in honor of
 the bride were given by Mrs.
 Earl Carrigan, Wilson; Mrs. Leona
 Baskalakra, Mrs. Harold Ecker
 and Miss June Mayback of Bar
 ker; Mrs. C. E. Gritzmacher, Miss
 Elizabeth Morton, Miss Ruth
 Schaal, of Wilson and Mrs. Burnette
 Wollaber of Sanborn.
