GOLEM - Emma M. Golem, (nee Ellman), 74, formerly of North Tonawanda, died Wednesday (June 24, 1964) in Northtown Nursing Home after a long illness. She was the wife of John Golem, who died in 1949. Surviving are three sons, Carl G. of Patton, Calif., Howard G. of San Diego, Calif., and Alden of Westfield, N.Y., and a daughter, Mrs. Grace Canfield of Westfield. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Thorman and Mrs. Christ Janowsky, both of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Norman Arndt of East Aurora. Friends may call at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, North Tonawanda. Services will be Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the funeral home. The Rev. Carl K. Marks will officiate. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery.
