Notes - Dorothy A. Gardei (Schmeickel) age 89, of North Tonawanda, passed away October 6, 2022. The happiest time in Dorothy’s life was when she was raising her children. Later in life she became a nurse and worked for Heathwood Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late George Gardei. Beloved mother of Sandra Brazier, Randy (Bonnie) Gardei, Candi (Rev. Terry) Bull, Tami DePriest, Jacqueline (William) Owens, and the late George Gardei Jr. Grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sister of Betty, Shirley, and Donald, stepsister of James, aunt of several nieces and nephews. No prior visitation, funeral services will be held privately.
