  Doris Wendt, age 82, passed away on November 24, 2016 at Brookdale's Clarebridge House in Wheatfield following a long illness. Doris was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, she graduated from North Tonawanda High School and retired from DeGraff Memorial Hospital, where she had worked as a nurses aide for over 35 years. Her hobbies included trips to the casino and travel. Daughter of the late Edward and Christine Wendt; sister of the late Evelyn (late Harold) Boehnke, late Martin, late Raymond and late Robert Wendt. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marilyn (Robert) Ventry; and four nieces. Friends may call on Sunday from 12-3 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda where Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM.
