  Niagara Gazette - 8/9/1958 RANSOMVILLE — Elwood F, Simmons, 65, a well-known farmer on the Ridge Rd., Town of Lewiston, died today (August. 9, 1958) at his home after an illness of six months. He was born in the Town of Lewiston and lived and farmed all his life on the same^farm. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha Simmons; and two sisters, Miss Livina Simmons and Mrs. Walter Ryans, all of Ransomville.. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hardison Funeral Home.
