Notes - Gloria (nee Marohn) McNamara, age 81, of Tonawanda, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Jennie (nee Brock) McNamara. Mrs. McNamara was a lifelong resident of Tonawanda and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband, John "Jack" McNamara; two daughters, Nora Jean McNamara and Catherine (Robert) Szczublewski; a son, Keith (Sandie) McNamara; two sisters, Rose Marohn and Christine (Keith) Anderson; and a brother, Roger (Sherrie) Marohn. Also surviving are a granddaughter, Shannon McNamara; and several nieces and nephews. There is no visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11 AM on Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, William and Scott Streets, Tonawanda.
