 Schimschack-Olds
 SANBORN  Mr. and Mrs. Roger W. Erck,
 3209 Upper Mountain Road, announce the engagement
 of Mrs. Erck's daughter, Miss Dawn
 Evelyn Olds, to Richard Dennis Schimschack.
 step-son of Mrs. Mary Schimschack, Pekin.
 and. son of the late Mr. and Mrs.' Robert
 Schimschack.
 Miss Olds, also the daughter of the late
 Eugene Olds, is a 1970 graduate of Starpoint
 Central High School. She is employed at Hy-
 Top Pharmacy, Sanborn.
 Mr. Schimschack, who served three years
 in the U.S. Navy, is now employed by Harrison
 Radiator Division, General Motors Corp.,
 Lockport.

 married in a double ring
 ceremony at St. Andrew's
 Lutheran Church, Pekin.
 The Rev. Albert Gaal officiated
 at the candlelight
 ceremony Nov. 7, 1970. for
 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
 Roger W. Erck, 3211 Upper
 Mountain Road, and the son
 of the late Mr. and Mrs.
 Robert Schimschack. The
 bridegroom is the stepson of
 Mrs. Mary Schimschack, Upper
 Mountain Road.
 The bride, given in marriage
 by Mr. Erck. chose a
 gown of velvet with Venise
 lace accenting the empire
 bodice, mandarin neckline,
 and cuffs of the bishop
 sleeves-. A matching framer
 of lace and flowers secured
 her chapel length waterfall
 veil and s h e carried . a
 cascade of white pompons.

 MRS. EUGENE E.
 SCHULZ, sister of the bride,
 was matron of honor. She
 wore a purple velvet gown
 with empire bodice, waist and
 cuffs trimmed with multicolor
 embroidery, and with an
 A-line skirt: A m a t c h i ng
 velvet rose sctired her Iviuffant
 veil and she carried
 orchid pompons surrounding
 a lighted candle.
 Similarly styled gowns were
 .worn bv the bridesmaids,
 Miss Shirleen Baker, "Miss
 Sharon Berube, Miss Linda
 iMielke; and the flower girl,
 Jennifer Erck, sister of the
 bride.
 Robert C. Schimschack was
 best man' for his brother.
 Ushers were James SnVth,
 Phillip Curione. James C:ndric
 and Duane Olds, brother
 of the bride.
 A reception was held at
 Pekin Fire Hall. After a honevmoon
 in the Poconos, Mr.
 and Mrs. Schimschack will
 make their home
 A Nov. 7 wedding is planned.
