L. Nichols
Dies at 56
In Lewiston
LEWISTONL. Miles
Nichols, 56, of 1804 Ridge
Road, Lewiston, died Monday
(March 15, 1965) at his
home after suffering an apparent
heart attack.
Mr. Nichols had owned and
operated a fruit and dairy
farm at the Ridge Road address
since 1935. A native
of the Town of Lewiston, he
was the son of Lafayette M.
and Evelyn Be-ggs Nichols.
He married Marie Korff in
West Somerset in 1931 and
lived in Niagara Falls before
moving to Lewiston in 1935.
Mr. Nichols was a member
of the Dickersonville Methodist
Church, the Agricultural
Extension Service, Niagara
County Milk P r o d u c e r s,
National Grange Cooperative,
and the Great Lakes Cherry
Growers Association.
Surviving are his widow; a
son, William Nichols, Lewiston;
his mother, Mrs. Evelyn
Comfort, Niagara Falls; a
sister, Mrs. Florence Martin,
Niagara Falls; a brother,
Merwin Nichols, Youngstown,
and two grandsons, David and
Scott Nichols, Lewiston.
The family will be present
from 24 and 7-9 p.m. at 'the
Hamilton and Clark Funeral
Home, Wilson, where services
will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Thursday by Rev. Frank Anderson,
pastor.of the Dickersonville
Methodist Church.
