  Niagara Gazette - 6/25/1949 Rites Tomorrow for Lockport -Resident LOCKPORT, June 25 — The funeral of Mrs. Ruth E, Scarles, 47, wife of Stanley E. Searles, 90 Oliver street, organist and officer of Unity Chapter, Eastern Star, will be held tomorrow at 3 p. m. at All Saints' Episcopal chapel. Burial will be In Cold Springs cemetery. A native of Lockport, Mrs. Searles was a member of the Hospital guild, (he Home Study club and the Niagara County Historical society. She was to have been elected grand matron of the Eastern Star this year and for more than 25 years had been organist at All Saints' chapel. Besides her husband, she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William B. Gooding, and a sister, Mrs. Ken- neth Coash, Lockport.
