NORTH TONAWANDA -
Carl W. Werth, 51, operator of
a farm in Hunt S t r e e t,
Bergholtz, died Monday (Sept.
23, 1968) at Niagara Falls
Memorial Hospital.
He was found next to his
tractor outside Wilbert's Tavern
in Niagara Falls Boulevard, and
was pronounced dead on arrival
at the hospital. Reports of an
autopsy were inconclusive today.
Born in Pontiac, Mich., he
lived in the Town of Wheatfield
for the last 35 years.
Survivors include his mother,
Mrs. Emma Zappendorf of
Bergholtz; two brothers, John
of Grand Island, Donald of
Tonawanda, and several nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted
at 1:30 p.m. Thursday
in the Wattengel Funeral Home
by the Rev. Robert H. Rose.
Burial will be in St. John
Cemetery, Youngstown.
Friends may call from 2 to
4 and 7 to 9 p.m.at the funeral
home.
